ESPN analyst Tom Luginbill discussed the signing of No. 1 ranked 2018 quarterback Trevor Lawrence to Clemson.

"I believe they are getting a player that marries with what Clemson wants to do on offense," Luginbill said. They want to be a play action, two-back team and wanna move the launch point. The quarterback has to be an athlete, not the athlete. You see the natural ability to throw the football how that ball whips off Trevor Lawrence's arm. This guy checks a lot of boxes and you don't see red flags."
