Quick starts have been a staple of Trevor Lawrence’s senior season at Cartersville.

Friday’s performance was on another level for the five-star Clemson quarterback commit.

On his 18th birthday, Lawrence celebrated by throwing six touchdown passes in the first half in a 56-0 win over LaGrange (Ga.). It was his third game this season with at least four touchdowns by halftime, leading Cartersville (7-0) to its 37th-straight win.

Lawrence topped the 2,000 yard passing mark on the season and has 26 passing scores. He’s now only 15 touchdowns from breaking from Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson’s Georgia high school record for touchdown passes (159).
