Clemson football signee Isaiah Simmons might be one of the most physically gifted athletes coming to Clemson this year. Simmons, who is almost six-foot-four and 215 pounds, was first in his state in both the long jump and the 200 meters.

The 24-foot 5-inch distance would have been a top 25 jump in last year's NCAA championship and the 200 meter time would have been just outside the top 25.

Last season in football, Simmons had 29 catches for 994 yards (impressive 34.3 average) and 13 touchdowns during his senior season. He was also a standout on the defensive side of the ball.

Clemson also has another track standout in last year's class in Tavien Feaster who won the 4A 100 meters and his second straight state title last year with a blistering time of 10.42 seconds. Feaster also won the 4A 200 meters with a state record of 21.11.
