Tigers Atop Williams List
When Quentez Ruffin committed to Clemson, he said he would begin being a recruitor for the Tigers. Ruffin has been on his teammate TJ Williams everyday to come to Tiger Town.
"Quentez tells me everyday that Clemson is the place to be. I would say Clemson is at the top of my list right now. I like FSU you also. I am waiting on an official offer from them though.
Though the Seminoles have not offered Williams yet he has received offers from Georgia, NC State, South Carolina, Louisville, and Central Florida.
Williams made an unofficial visit to Clemson back during the summer, and the Tigers were able to make a good impression with the wideout.
"It was a college town, and I liked it because it was small town, and you stay focused on your books. Dabo Swinney he has a connection with his players. He has been straight up with me so far. For you to find out what school you want to go to you need them to be truthful. I would like to play for a coach like Swinney most definitely."
The school that is close to Clemson on Williams list is FSU, and Williams shared what he liked about the Seminoles.
"They run a lot of play action. I see myself as a deep threat. I think in their system I could go up and make a lot of plays."
Williams made camp trips to Georgia and LSU.
"The hardest camp I went to was LSU. They did a lot of conditioning. If I was to go there, I would definitely have to be in shape. If you are not in shape there you get lost in the shuffle.
At Georgia, they were more hands on with their players. If you mess up they are right there in face to tell you. I really liked that about their staff."
