Clemson 2017 running back commit Cordarrian Richardson won Tennessee's 2A Mr. Football Award on Monday afternoon.
The prestigious award was also given to Clemson wide receiver commits Tee Higgins for Class 5A Back of the Year as he became his high school's first back-to-back Mr. Football recipient. However, the Clemson news didn't end there as Amari Rogers also repeated as Class 4A Back of the Year to continue the lineage of #WRU talent headed to Clemson. All three of these elite prospects are coming to Clemson from the state of Tennessee. Of the six Mr. Football Awards in Tennessee, three are coming to Clemson, one to Oklahoma, one to LSU, and one to Tennessee. 1/6 is not a good ratio for Volunteers fan for the future of their program.
