Clemson recruiting coordinator Jeff Scott on Tyrone Crowder "Tyrone was a guy we were probably on him for as long as anybody through the whole process. It was kind of fitting that he maybe was the last recruit to sign because he was probably one earliest guys that we offered. Just recognize he is very strong. He set a lot of weight lifting records in the state of North Carolina. A very physical young man. At the Shrine Bowl I had several coaches…unfortunately we are not allowed to go to any Shrine Bowl practices anymore. That rule needs to be changed. But I had several high school coaches that were working the Shrine Bowl call me and say ‘Man this Tyrone Crowder is one of the most physical linemen we have had in the last couple years.’ So that is good to hear. He is a guy that we can get in the program that definitely can help us. You are always looking for hard-nosed physical lineman. I think that is exactly what we got in Tyrone Crowder."Tyrone Crowder
