had a electric performance on Friday night in a 56-44 road win against Laney high school.

Powell had six catches for 111 yards and two receiving touchdowns and an 87-yard kickoff return for a score.

TigerNet.com watched Powell at the 2015 Dabo Swinney Football Camp, and I was blown away with his agility and crisp route running. His camp work was eerily similar to those of Artavis Scott a few years back.

His recruiting stock will more than likely continue to rise during his senior season.

Powell had 67 receptions for 1248 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior. He also had 12 rushes for 83 yards and two scores. As a kick-off returner, he had 14 returns for 445 yards and a touchdown.

He had 47 catches for 1,228 yards and 21 touchdowns as a sophomore.

He has offers from Alabama, Clemson, East Carolina, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, West Virginia and others.
