Here is a picture of Ferrell at his signing day ceremony at Benedictine College Prep.

Ferrell missed his senior season with a torn ACL but was still voted as the top prospect in the highly competitive Richmond area. As a junior, Ferrell recorded 60 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks.

The 6-5, 225-pound DE prospect chose Clemson over offers from Boston College, Charlotte, Florida, Florida State, Iowa, LSU, Marshall, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and others. He committed to Clemson on 6/4/14.

Ferrell tweeted on Wednesday morning, "My NLI Has Been Faxed And I'm Now Apart Of The Clemson Family, I Thank God For All of This, I Did It For My Pops." #WeTooDeep
