Chalk is the grandson of Stallings and Swinney actually played for Stallings at Alabama.

The 6-4, 225 pound tight end from Argyle (TX) committed to Clemson back in June at the 2014 Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

Chalk is the first commit for the 2016 Clemson recruiting class.
