He had offers from Clemson, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Virginia, Wake Forest, West Virginia, and others.

Clemson offered first on 4/26/13. His father Dylan played for South Carolina and his mother played softball also for them during the late 80's.

Veal is the sixth commitment for the 2015 UNC recruiting class.
