The Clemson Football team doesn't rebuild; they reload at several positions including quarterback.
Nation's No. 1 2020 quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei from Bellflower (CA) St. John Bosco told TigerNet on Friday that he will be visiting Clemson for the North Carolina State game. The 5-star prospect had an excellent time at Clemson when he had a brief visit back in June. “It's the best visit I've had so far. Those other schools were good, but that was the best visit by far,” he said to TigerNet. “I've been to other schools, but Clemson had every single point that I am looking for in a college. Every single one. It was amazing.” We were able to watch him throw at the 2018 Dabo Swinney Camp and came away very impressed with his rocket arm and overall ability. He's the real deal and would be a great addition for any school. It appears that Clemson is in great shape with Uigalelei and it will be interesting to see where he lands. Clemson has secured a commitment from 2019 elite quarterback Taisun Phommachanh.
