According to the Charlotte Observer, Berry may have been looking forward to next week's showdown with Mallard Creek.
"We got a great win to open the season over Vance," said Hopper, whose team beat Vance 44-6 last week. "But tonight we got complacent. Vance isn't going to win us any championships. We know what is ahead of us (Mallard Creek) and we have to work extra hard to be ready for it."
