2020 outfielder Alex Urban from Lexington, SC (Riverbluff HS) has committed to Clemson on Sunday after touring the schools and meeting with coach Monte Lee according to his Twitter account.
"I am beyond blessed to announce that I have committed to play baseball at Clemson University," Urban posted. "I would like to thank my family and coaches!" His high school River Bluff were 5A state championship runner-ups this past season. In 2016, he batted .321 with a homer and 19 RBI. Monte Lee and the Tigers are on a roll recruiting-wise as they just added 2020 pitcher Ty Olenchuk of Dutch Fork's commitment on Saturday.
