Sophomore catcher Jared Kirven from Lexington, S.C. (Lexington HS) committed to Clemson after a campus visit on Sunday according to multiple reports.

Kirven had an interest in the following schools: Clemson, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Duke, Furman, North Carolina State, The Citadel, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Wake Forest and Wofford.

He has played varsity baseball for his high school since the 8th grade and also represents the Lexington Baseball Club 17 and under team.
