TigerNet has confirmed that Daniel high school cornerback

"Yes I committed to the coaches on Dec 31," Trapp told TigerNet. He had offers from Furman, Gardner-Webb and interest from Duke. As a senior, Trapp had 55 tackles (22 solo), six interceptions and nine pass breakups. He also had 12 punt returns for a 22.7 average and four touchdowns. Trapp looked impressive at recent Shrine Bowl practices with his speed and fluidity guarding receivers. He runs a 4.50 40 yard dash, has a 30 inch vertical, 200 pound bench press, runs a 11.1 100 meters and a 51.0 400 meters. He wants to major in either finance or communications. He is the son of former Clemson football great James Trapp who played 11 years in the NFL and presently works as Clemson's FCA director.Amir Trapp
