4-star 2017 running back and former Clemson commit Cordarrian Richardson from Memphis, TN committed to Maryland during a Bleacher Report video on National Signing Day.
"I'm Cordarrian Richardson, 4-star running back and I'm committing in space," Richardson said during the interesting video in which he chose Maryland. However, he actually switched from Maryland and signed with UCF according to the school on Thursday. The commitment video has since been deleted from Bleacher Report's archive of videos. Clemson and Richardson parted ways publicly on Dec. 23. Richardson is a consensus 4-star running back recruit by all the major recruiting services. He is a powerful bruising type running back with great speed. Richardson was named state title Class 2A Offensive MVP this past season as he ran for 342 yards on 41 carries to win the 2A state title 40-35 over Marion County and it was Trezevant high school's first ever state title. In 2016, he had 2,239 yards with 18 rushing touchdowns and five more scores on punt returns. Welcome to the family, Cordarrian. #OTownBound17 pic.twitter.com/bf2emrQGBK
