Clemson has jumped into the mix for 3-star Orlando, Florida defender Marcus Tillman Jr.

Tillman, rated as an outside linebacker by 247Sports and Rivals, announced earlier in the week that he had a Clemson visit set and then Saturday that the Tigers had offered. He was a Florida commitment up until January and the new Gators staff are still recruiting him as well as notable competitors in Ohio State and Louisville.

"I am truly honored to be offered a full scholarship to play football for Clemson University..." Tillman posted on Twitter Saturday.

He also holds offers Mississippi State, UNC, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Syracuse.

Tillman recently showcased his skills at the 3 Stripe camp in Orlando:
