According to Rock Hill Herald interviewing ESPNU Anchor:
"Jadeveon came in about a year and a half ago," Galindo said. "I had never heard of him before because we were still doing stuff with the Class of 2010. Craig Haubert, who is one of the heads of the recruiting division at ESPNU, brought him in, knowing from seeing him down the road he would be one of the top guys in the Class of 2011. "We talked at the time. I'll never forget the conversation there was, his dad really wanted him to go to Florida. It comes out, and there isn't a Florida (school) even in consideration." "It's been good," Galindo said. "I don't think it's been something that's put us over the top or that we've exploited or anything like that. But it is good for things like (National Signing Day coverage) when you can have the No. 1-overall player nationally just hop in a car and come in for a show. "It's been good, from that aspect, to get to know him and get that relationship with him, so we can have him here when we know nobody else is. But that's all cultivated by getting to know him ..."
