From AJC:
The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder has looked like the state’s No. 1 prospect in practices[Rising Senior game]. Watson has prototypical size, he possesses outstanding composure, he’s a running threat, and he can throw on the run with velocity. Watson has been just about perfect on short to intermediate throws in the cold and rainy weather. “He’s as gifted as anybody I’ve seen,” said Blessed Trinity coach Tim McFarlin, the East team’s offensive coordinator. Watson nearly holds all of the state’s major passing records, and he led Gainesville to its first state championship earlier this month. Watson committed to Clemson on last year’s signing day but he’s still looking around at Ohio State, Auburn and Tennessee. He also wouldn’t mind an offer from Georgia, which he thought he was going to get last summer.
