The 6-6, 200-pound guard was the AAA state Player of the Year, the AAA Region IV Player of the Year, All-State and All-Region honors and was a nominee for the South Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year.

He has offers from Clemson, Georgia, Houston, Jacksonville, Miami(OH), Mississippi State, S.F. Austin, VCU, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and others. As a junior, he averaged 23 points and 7 rebounds per game.

He is also one of 100 recruits that has been invited to the NBA Players Association camp this summer. Also, one of his AAU teammates is young basketball phenom Seventh Woods.
