Current Texas head coach Charlie Strong rescinded Hemphill's offer back in January because of his policy to not take commitments from sophomores. Mack Brown had offered the talented receiver when he was the head coach of the the Longhorns.

He has offers from Baylor, Clemson, LSU, Maryland, Michigan State, Mississippi, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Purdue, Texas A&M and others.

In 2013, he had 28 catches for 569 yards and 10 touchdowns. As a freshman, he had 400 yards and six touchdowns.
