Four-star 2020 La Habra, California cornerback Clark Phillips III announced a Clemson offer on Thursday.
Phillips is a consensus top-100 player overall and rated as high as the No. 4 cornerback in the nation. "Clemson offered!!" Phillips said on Twitter, who has also added offers from Texas, Ohio State and Tennessee so far in the new year. Phillips totaled 1,210 receiving yards with 19 touchdowns on the offensive side and two picks and 10 total passes defended on defense last season. Phillips' most recent top school list had 12 teams, which included Texas A&M, LSU, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Cal, Utah, Washington and Arizona State.
