Clemson has offered 2019 safety Jalen Catalon from Mansfield, TX (Mansfield Legacy) on Thursday according to his Twitter account.
"Blessed beyond measures to say that I received an offer from the national champs themselves," Catalon tweeted after hearing about the new offer. Catalon has early offers from Clemson, Missouri, SMU, and Oklahoma. Missouri was the first school to offer. In 2016, he had an impressive 196 tackles including seven for loss, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and nine interceptions including one for a touchdown. For those impressive statistics, he was named first-team AP All-State defense for Class 5A in December.
