Clemson has offered 2017 defensive back Chris Ingram TigerNet spoke with Ingram and he was "excited about the offer and humbled." He received the good news from Clemson's defensive back coach Mike Reed. Ingram thinks that the Clemson defense suits his personality. "I like the intensity and the swagger Clemson's defense plays with," said Ingram. "It pumps me up every time I see them play and their highlights." He has early offers from Clemson, East Carolina and North Carolina State. He had 45 tackles, three interceptions, five pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and a punt return for a touchdown last season. He is a two-time all-conference performer and was also named to an all-county team. NUC National Analyst Barry Every has Ingram ranked as the #22 overall underclassman in the nation. His current favorite schools are Clemson and North Carolina State.Chris Ingram
