A top 2019 prospect from Louisiana with an impressive highlight reel picked up a Clemson offer on Monday.
4-star athlete Makiya Tongue, who could play receiver or on defense at the college level, added Clemson to a growing list of suitors. He was offered just this month by Texas, Memphis, Texas A&M, Utah, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Auburn and Kentucky. "Extremely blessed to receive an offer from Clemson University!!!" Tongue posted on Twitter Monday. He has NFL bloodlines, with his dad, Reggie, a 10-year pro safety with the Chiefs, Seahawks, Jets and Raiders. Reggie attended Oregon State. Tongue is a teammate of recently-offered LB Bryton Constantin, who is set to visit this weekend.
