Clemson has offered 4-star 2019 receiver Jake Smith from Scottsdale, AZ (ND Preparatory) on Thursday according to his Twitter account.
"Very excited to receive an offer from Clemson," Smith posted. Smith has national offers from Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, California, Clemson, Duke, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Liberty, Memphis, Nevada, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Syracuse, Texas, UCLA, Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington State, and Wisconsin. Georgia also offered on Thursday. As a junior, he rushed for 1,135 yards and 11 touchdowns, caught 33 passes for 1,055 yards and 15 touchdowns, and two special team touchdowns for a total of 2,538 all-purpose yards with 28 touchdowns. He is the first high school player from the state of Arizona with 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards since Christian Kirk in 2013.
