Clemson made the top-eight schools for one of the top prospects in the state of North Carolina Tuesday.

4-star Roxboro, N.C. DT Joshua Harris has the Tigers in a group with NC State, Georgia, Tennessee, UNC, Ohio State, Virginia Tech and Penn State.

"I just want to say thanks to (all) of the schools that have offered and gave me a chance to play the game I love but this is my Top 8," Harris posted on Twitter Tuesday.

Clemson offered the Person High School prospect in February, who is rated as high as the No. 4 player in North Carolina and the No. 7 defensive tackle nationally.

Harris made all-area first-team with 65 tackles, 24 for loss, with 13 sacks at Person last season.
