One of the nation's top-rated 2019 offensive guards included Clemson in his top-5 schools on Saturday evening.

Four-star OL Will Putnam (Tampa, Fla.) has Clemson in a group with instate Florida and Florida State, as well as Georgia and Auburn.

"Honestly, I just want to wake up one day and say, 'Man, this is the school I really want to go to,'" Putnam told a radio outlet of his timeline. "I'd really like to (decide) before school starts, but if not, I'll take into the fall. That doesn't really bother me. I just want to make the right choice and go from there."

He is rated as high as the No. 5 offensive guard nationally by both ESPN and 247Sports and a consensus top-120 prospect overall.

Putnam visited Clemson shortly after receiving an offer in March and has also visited his other finalists, around adding offers from Southern Cal, Texas and Oregon.

In addition to his football accomplishments, Putnam also earned state champion wrestling honors with a 25-0 season at Plant.
