5-star defensive tackle
Rashan Gary announced his top group of schools on Monday with Clemson making the list.
His top schools are Michigan, Ole Miss, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, USC and Georgia. Florida and Florida State are two schools outside of the top group. Michigan appears to be the heavy frontrunners for his recruitment. Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Florida or Florida State are in the mix to get his final official visit. Gary is the consensus #1 ranked prospect in the 2016 recruiting class and had 55 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and a returned block for a touchdown in nine games this season. He was NJ.com's defensive player of the year for the second straight season. He will announce his college decision on National Signing Day (Feb 4.). #Michigan RB commit Kareem Walker & Nations No. 1 Rashan Gary #UAAllAmerica photo shoot. @AllAmericaGame pic.twitter.com/PDJ9zHV20L Nations No. 1-ranked player Rashan Gary. pic.twitter.com/G382WSvyGo Nations No. 1 @RashanGary33 with 2 terrific reps against #Alabama commit Chris Owens. pic.twitter.com/ab3nDXs6N0
