Nation's #1 2019 quarterback Bo Nix from Pinson, Alabama (Pinson Valley) announced his top group of schools on Thursday night according to his Twitter account.
"First, I want to thank God for blessing me with so many opportunities," Nix posted. "Also, I want to thank every college that has given me a chance to play at the next level. However, it is time to focus on the upcoming season and narrow down my options. Again, thank you for your time and effort." Clemson made the cut alongside Auburn, Ohio State, Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, and LSU. However, Auburn might be the frontrunner for his recruitment as he is the son of former Auburn starting quarterback Patrick Nix who played for the Tigers from 1992-1995. Nix has national offers from Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Mississippi, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Southern Mississippi. Clemson offered on 3/27/17. In 2016, Nix was 84-of-164 passes for 1,737 yards, 16 touchdowns, five picks, and rushed for 1,300 yards and 20 scores to help his team to a record of 8-4. In 2015 as an 8th grader starting varsity midway through the season, Nix passed 42-of-122 for 681 yards, ten touchdowns, and eight interceptions. During Atlanta's The Opening regional camp in March, he won the quarterback MVP award. Top 8?? pic.twitter.com/hcayj3YgZl
