Clemson gets in-state baseball commit |
Byrnes standout pitcher Alex Eubanks has committed to play baseball for Clemson according to his twitter account.
Eubanks is 6-2, 175 pounds and throws a variety of pitches - 86 MPH fastball, 74 MPH curveball, 78 MPH slider and a 72 change-up. His secondary position is at third base.
Some of his accolades include 2014 Atlantic Region HM and 2013 Underclass Honorable Mention.
His personal statement on ncsasports.org says "I want to play as a freshman in college, but I also want to play at the highest level of competition. I am devoted to be the best player i can be and improve in every way i can. My goal is to make an impact on any team I am selected on no matter where or who that team should be. My number one goal is to play at the next level and help that team reach their goal."
