Nation's No. 1 prospect and defensive lineman Bryan Bresee helped lead Damascus (Md.) back to a state championship on Thursday despite having to play with a broken hand suffered the week prior, according to the Washington Post.

Bresee even scored a rushing touchdown in the win.

“I was like, ‘I’m not missing my last game of high school for anything,’” Bresee told the Washington Post.

Damascus had won three titles in a row on a 53-game winning streak before being upset in the playoffs last year, returning to the top with a 12-2 run in 2019.
