Cervenka also had offers from Miami, Virginia Tech, Duke, Wake Forest and NC State.

Cervenka was very impressive in the 2015 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl showing his speed and motor on several plays. Last season, he had 100 tackles with 28 for loss and 3 sacks.

He is also a three time state wrestling champion and one of the top wrestlers in the country.
