2019 Mountain Brook (Ala.) wide receiver Hamp Greene announced a Clemson commitment as a preferred walk-on on Tuesday night via social media.
"I am pleased and humbled to announce that I have received and accepted a preferred walk-on offer to play football for Clemson University," Greene said. "I am grateful to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to my family, friends and coaches. I am also grateful for Coach Dabo (Swinney), (Thad) Turnipseed and the entire Clemson family for believing in me. Clemson is a very special program, and I look forward to my time there and the opportunity to contribute, both on and off the field."
Greene totaled 46 catches for 591 yards with two touchdowns, with over 1,000 all-purpose yards in all as a junior.
The 5-foot-10 target has competed at Dabo Swinney's camp and also visited for games in Clemson.
