Height: 6-1   Weight: 225   Hometown: Naples, FL (Naples HS)   Class: 2005

Spencer Adkins is one of the highest rated defensive lineman in the country. He had offers from virtually every school in the country. He has narrowed his choices down to four.

"My top four is Miami, FSU, Florida, and Georgia. What I like about the Florida schools is they are close to home, and they make you the best player you can be. With Georgia, I bonded with the coach and I like the program."

Adkins has taken one unofficial visit. He was on hand for the Florida game versus LSU.

"It went real well. I got to meet with the coaches in the locker room. On Sunday, we ate breakfast with the coaches and some other recruits. After that, I was able to breakdown film with the coaches."

Adkins has led one of Florida's top defenses to a 6-0 start. In his last outing, he had 4 sacks.
