With strong family ties to Clemson, baseball commitment Chris Okey, a catcher, will have a hard decision during the baseball draft on Thursday. MLB.com ranks Okey 52nd on its list of top 100 prospects.
"With my family, it's been a lifelong love." Rounds 1 and 2 will air live on Thursday night starting at 7PM est on the MLB network.
"It is going to be a tough one," Okey said. "Unlike a lot of players who sign with a college, then get drafted and sign [a pro contract], it's not like I signed with Clemson because I fell in love with the school this summer.
