Rising sophomore quarterback Trevor Lawrence from Cartersville, Georgia will be visiting Clemson this weekend according to his Twitter account.

Lawrence is a 5-star prospect and rated as the #1 overall player in 247.com's 2018 recruiting rankings.

For the season, Lawrence is 73-of-105 passing for 990 yards and 12 touchdowns with only one interception for a 4-0 team.

In 2014, Lawrence completed 187 passes out of 320 attempts for 3042 yards and 26 touchdowns and also was named Georgia 4A All-State QB after the season.

This is not his first visit to Clemson as he was in attendance at the 2015 Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

He has early offers from California, Cincinnati, Clemson, Colorado State, Duke, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Missouri, Southern Miss, Tennessee, UCF and Virginia Tech.
