Clemson returned to The Volunteer State for its latest ‘WRU’ target.
Four-star 2019 Franklin Road Academy (Tenn.) product Lance Wilhoite announced a Clemson offer on social media Monday. The 6-foot-3 receiver from the Nashville area has been a heavy Tennessee target and also holds offers from LSU, Ohio State, Florida and more Power 5 programs. Wilhoite is rated as high as the No. 38 overall prospect by ESPN and is rated No. 122 in the 247Sports Composite rankings. He was named Athlete of the Year for his region. Clemson signed two Tennessee products to its receiver corps in the 2017 class, in Amari Rodgers and Tee Higgins.
