Mathews has offers from Alabama, Clemson, Louisville, Mississippi, Northwestern, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Virginia and others. He visited Clemson last season for the Tigers' 35-17 win over the Gamecocks.
He has Texas A&M very high on his list of schools since his father played for the Aggies. His father Jason is currently the offensive line coach at Brentwood Academy and also played in the NFL for several seasons with the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts.
