4-star 2017 outside linebacker Justin Foster from Shelby, N.C. signed his NLI on Wednesday morning confirmed by TigerNet.
Foster chose Clemson his other finalists Georgia and Tennessee. "They stuck with me from the beginning, no matter where I went to go to visit," Foster said back during his commitment. "They were recruiting me the hardest and Dabo was a man of his word during the whole recruiting process." Foster is a consensus 4-star recruit by all the major recruiting services and the #1 player in the state of North Carolina for the 2017 cycle. He is a huge get for the future of the Clemson linebacker core as they are stacked with talent with Justin Foster, Shaq Smith, Tre Lamar, and others all waiting in the wings. Clemson defensive tackle coach Dan Brooks gave him his first football offer. Since then, Foster has claimed national offers from Alabama, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
