4-star linebacker and 2016 Clemson inside linebacker target Tre Lamar TigerNet spoke to Lamar on Sunday night and he said it was a great visit to Clemson: "I really enjoyed the visit. I got to talk with all the coaches and see their meetings but the highlight of my visit would be interacting with them, watching practice and how the coaches are on the field." Lamar was also impressed by the Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney saying "He's a great coach." The consensus 4-star LB says that "Clemson is now in his top couple of schools" after his second visit to Clemson this year. Schools that he has high interest in are Clemson, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt. He also has offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Miami, Michigan St, Minnesota, Mississippi State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Syracuse, UCF, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin. He doesn't have any other college visits set up right now but plans to visit a Clemson game this far and it might the be South Carolina State game. The main Clemson recruiters for Lamar have been Tony Elliot and Brent Venables.
