A rising elite prospect from Georgia announced a Clemson offer Monday afternoon.
A standout defender and running back, 2019 four-star Roswell (Ga.) athlete Steele Chambers said he was "blessed" to get the word from Clemson:
Chambers, who last visited Clemson for the Auburn game, made All-State as a sophomore after rushing for nearly 1,500 yards, adding six interceptions and 66 tackles on the defensive side as a safety and outside linebacker. He earned offensive player of the year honors for the 7-AAAA region.
This season, Chambers is over 1,000 all-purpose yards with 14 rushing touchdowns for Blessed Trinity in an 8-2 start, with 40 tackles and one interception.
In addition to Clemson, Chambers has also made visits to Stanford, Georgia Tech and South Carolina this season. He was recently offered by Ohio State, and outside of those recent visits, also holds offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
