Clemson offered on 6/13/15 while he was at the 2015 Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

Matos' current offer list includes Charlotte, Clemson, Duke, Marshall, Maryland, Old Dominion, Penn State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

In 2014, he had 68 tackles and a fumble recovery in 10 total games.

He is a speedster with a reported 40-yard dash time of 4.59.
