Four-star 2017 defensive lineman Jordan Williams out of Virginia Beach (VA) Cox will announce on August 6th between Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Tennessee according to his Twitter account.
Williams is a consensus 4-star recruit by all the major recruiting services. He is the No. 238 player in the ESPN300 and has 28 offers including from Clemson, Florida, Marshall, Maryland, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, South Carolina, Southern California, Temple, Texas State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. As a junior, he had 39 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, five sacks, two interceptions, seven pass deflections, a forced fumble and recovered two fumbles including one returned for a touchdown. He wants to play defensive end in college. The 6-5, 260-pounder is being recruited by Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables, and he recently visited the 2016 All In Cookout at Clemson and by all accounts had a great time.
