View Full Profile from Richmond, VA has committed to Clemson on Wednesday afternoon via a phone conversation with Dabo Swinney. Ferrell is a 4-star recruit by all the major recruiting services.

He chose Clemson over his finalists - Michigan State, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, LSU, South Carolina and Michigan.

The 6-5, 225-pound DE prospect had offers from Boston College, Charlotte, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Iowa, LSU, Marshall, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and others.

As a junior, Ferrell recorded 60 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks.
