Byron Young (Laurel, Miss.) announced a Clemson offer Thursday evening.
“Blessed to receive an offer from Clemson University,” Young posted on his Twitter account. Young recorded 22 tackles for loss and 14 sacks last season, adding a pass breakup and causing a couple safeties. Young recently picked up an offer from Alabama, adding to a mix including LSU, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and South Carolina. Before the offer, Young had visits set for this weekend (Alabama) and the week after (Georgia, March 3).
