2019 in-state LHP commits to Clemson

2019 left-handed pitcher Geoffrey Gilbert from Charleston, South Carolina has committed to Clemson on Tuesday night according to his Twitter account.

"God has blessed me with the great talent to play the game of baseball," Gilbert tweeted. "I graciously thank Him and all the people who have had a part making me the player and person I am today. After talking with my parents and coaches, I am excited to announce that I have committed and will be spending my four years of college at Clemson University!"

Gilbert plays for Evoshield Canes South 15 and goes to high school at Bishop England (SC). He has an 86 MPH fastball, 76 MPH slider, and a 76 MPH changeup according to Perfect Game USA.
