2018 infield prospect Matthew Lumsden from Simpsonville, SC committed to Clemson on Monday.
Lumsden projects to play first at the next level. Even though he played third in high school, a long release might force the move to first. His travel ball coach said Lumsden is a great hitter with a keen eye, doesn't over swing, and a patient hitter at 0-2 as he is at an 2-0 count.
