WATCH: Lamar on his improvement in his play

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson junior linebacker Tre Lamar spoke with the media Tuesday recapping Fall camp and talked about his improvements in his play since he arrived at Clemson.

"My freshman year I had a hard time grasping everything and I've really worked my hardest to become a better player, a better man now that I've been here," he said. "Just becoming a field general and knowing exactly what I need to be able to do and I feel like there has been a huge growth in me and me and my coaches can see it. Clemson has done a great job."

He finished eighth on the team in tackles (52) last season despite missing several games with a stinger in his shoulder against Florida State.

FYI: Lamar is a 255-pound linebacker so quarterbacks should be on high alert this season.
