Two Tigers projected in first round of NFL Mock Draft

The College Football season is around two-thirds over as teams are preparing for the stretch run and trying to play their soundest football in order to achieve the best bowl or playoff situation possible.

Individually, players are trying to show off their best resume with a productive season as a few will transition to the NFL next year.

CBSSports.com released their latest 2019 NFL Mock Draft Friday and had two Tigers on the list.

Defensive end Clelin Ferrell was listed at No. 12 overall headed to the Tennessee Titans.

"The Titans have to plan for the future at the edge position beyond Harold Landry," CBSSports.com said. "Ferrell is an awesome edge-setter and has the athleticism to win on the outside in passing situations."

For the season, Ferrell has 27 tackles including 11.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks.

Offensive tackle Mitch Hyatt was selected No. 24 to the Clemson Texans...I mean Houston Texans in the mock draft.

"A bit of a surprise here, but the Texans have to add more talent to the offensive line," the website stated. "Hyatt is a super-experienced left tackle who's steadily improved in each of his seasons at Clemson."
